Carmella Baxter Wilson is the first born child of Elder and Evangelist A.B. Baxter Jr. of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. With her roots steeped in the Pentecostal tradition, Sister Wilson is third generation Church of God in Christ. She is the granddaughter of the late Bishop and Mrs. R.T. Jones, Jr. and the late Bishop A.D. Baxter and Mother Ida M. Baxter. Sis. Wilson is a 1992 Graduate of the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in Economics and a minor in African-American Studies. Sis. Wilson furthered her education at the University of Pennsylvania and in 1997 received a MBA in Finance from the Wharton School of Business. While an undergraduate, Sis. Wilson was active in the University Gospel Choir and received numerous awards for academic excellence. During her tenure at Wharton, Sister Wilson was the recipient of the Howard Mitchell Fellowship. Sis. Wilson is an anointed singer, teacher, confidant and prayer warrior. She considers motherhood to be one of greatest blessings of all and finds great joy her precious daughter- Jadyn Camille.
